My coworker comes here all the time, so I was really excited to come check out this place.  We were seated immediately when we arrived around noon on Saturday.

I got the Sapporo miso ramen for $11.62 with a California hand roll added for $1.78 more to round out a ramen set.

The ramen noodles are imported straight from Sapporo, Japan, and they were the best ramen noodles I have ever had.  Such nice flavor and texture with a nice "Q".

The broth was rich and flavorful with a strong miso flavor.  I loved thick and tender char siu.  It had the perfect ratio of meat to fat.  Alas, there was only one slice in the bowl.  I liked all the veggie toppings that added a nice crunch.  Easily the best ramen I've ever had.

The hand roll was very fresh and tasted great.  The rice was soft and seasoned perfectly.

There were several other lunch sets offered on the lunch menu that looked delicious, and I can't wait to try them out in the future.  Would also like to try their yakitori, but perhaps it's only offered during the dinner service?

The restaurant and nicely decorated and clean.  Service was attentive and great.  Will definitely come back here again.

Got to try this place and we weren't disappointed. I had yakitori (pork belly and beef tongue) which was flavorful. I also had their beef bowl which was light on the stomach.
My husband had the spicy ramen and he liked it. We were immediately seated when we came in and glad we did. Customers were steadily coming in on a friday evening.
Staff was wonderful and knew their stuff.  Will be coming here again!

This is the review for Okonomiyaki.

It's unique that the Okonomiyaki here is made by noodle patty, the veggie is minimal. This is quite different from other ones tasted before with flour and cabbage as the main ingredients.

Maybe someone can tell me which style is more authentic? Or I have to visit Hiroshima, for the original.

Still a good try dish in this authentic Japanese restaurant.

Love the place, save me trips to LA NYC or Tokyo...

The space is new, clean and busy. I have timed lunch at popular Japanese places in the 'burbs and think the tables turn every 30-40 minutes. So if you get there at 11:00, you'll get a seat and then the next tables open at 11:40 am then 12:20ish. This seemed to follow my theory. There were a lot of Japanese speaking customers as well.

We ordered the spicy scallop hand roll which I enjoyed because of the different textures (crunchy cucumber, freshness of the scallop- not mushy, creaminess of the sauce, and pop of the tobiko.)

The miso ramen was loaded with goodies. Lots of sautéed onions, bean sprouts, corn, half egg, green onions and bamboo shoots. The broth was rich and the pork was flavorful but not melt in your mouth. I did spice it up with the togarashi that is on every table.

We also shared the lunch special which included ginger pork, fried chicken thigh (not kaarage) over cabbage with dressing, spinach gomae, rice and miso soup. The pork was delicious and tender, and I felt it was good quality pork. The chicken was crispy and tender -although I am obsessed with chicken kaarage and really wanted this- I ate it with pleasure.

The menu is limited during lunch, but I get it since there are a lot of customers and the focused menu probably is best to keep everything moving and deliver quality food. Perhaps my next visit will be for dinner to try the more extensive menu.

    I recommend!

Meh, it was ok....maybe because we went for lunch . May be better for dinner since there's more options? Thought there would be a full menu for lunch as well, very limited options - basically ramen and appetizers to go with it. The ramen was ok, the hand rolls we chose were tasty. May go again to try to see if dinner is better since was recommended to this place by a local Japanese hairstylist.
